I've always been fascinated by the connections that exist on a farm.
 

How the health of the soil influences the plants that grow from it. How those plants nourish livestock. And how healthier animals ultimately create more productive, profitable, and resilient farming businesses.
 

Over the past decade, I've had the privilege of working alongside sheep, beef, and dairy farmers throughout New Zealand. During that time, I've learned that some of the biggest improvements don't come from chasing quick fixes, they come from understanding how the whole farming system works together.
 

That's what drives the work I do today.
 

As an Agroecological Coach specialising in Animal Health & Performance, I'm passionate about helping farmers make sense of the science behind soil health, pasture nutrition, and animal performance, then turning that knowledge into practical, achievable actions that fit real farming businesses.
 

Whether we're discussing calving management, metabolic health, pasture mineral balance, fertiliser decisions, or ecosystem function, my goal is always the same: to help you connect the dots so you can make confident decisions that improve productivity, profitabliity and long-term resilience.
 

Along the way, I've had the opportunity to work with researchers, farmer groups, and industry partners on regenerative farming projects and on-farm trials. I also deliver the Animal Health & Performance component of the Integrity Soils CREATE Agroecology course, where I enjoy helping farmers and rural professionals understand the biological processes that underpin healthy farming systems.
 

Four years of Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) monitoring, walking farms and measuring ecological outcomes has reinforced something I see time and again: healthy farming isn't about managing individual parts in isolation. It's about creating a system where healthy soils support healthy plants, healthy plants nourish healthy animals, and together they contribute to thriving farms and resilient rural communities.
